Titanium dioxide has three crystalline forms in nature: rutile, anatase and titanium. The plate-titanium type is an orthorhombic system, which is an unstable crystal form, and is converted into a rutile type at 650 ° C or higher, and therefore has no practical value in the industry. The anatase type is stable at normal temperature, but is converted to rutile at high temperatures. The conversion strength depends on whether the manufacturing method and the calcination process are accompanied by conditions such as inhibition or accelerator. XRD provides the most accurate and convenient conversion rate detection method.
